How to import configuration files from different printers
2026-06-01
Profile Import Guide
- Download the slicer profile compatible with your slicer and printer. Common file formats include .ini, .json, .3mf, .zip and other dedicated profile extensions.
- Launch your slicer, then locate the import function, typically found in File or Settings > Import >Import configs...
- Click Import configs..., navigate to the downloaded file and select it.
- Complete the import. The new profile will show up in your print, filament or device profile list for immediate use.
- For certain slicers, you need to bind the imported profile to your printer or filament first.
Important Notes
Always verify all print settings after import. Some profiles are tailored for specific hardware and materials.
This guide applies to mainstream slicers: Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and ideaMaker.
