ER20: top of lead screws dangling?

Hello,

I am not sure if this is correct:
the top of the 2 lead screws of the Eryone ER20 are dangling in the air and not fixed:



Is this correct like this or did I miss something?
Printing is ok now for smaller parts but maybe not if I print larger parts (higher Z) ?
Is this only fixed by the X axis bar moving up?

Hi, PMaff

It is normal for the ER20 3D printer.
We leave some air for it to prevent X-axis gantry from sticking at the z-axis mid-height

If it prints the small prints can give you a good result. Then you don't need to worry much.

If you want to make it perfect then you can have a look with the hight quality lead screw.

For myself, I have an idea for it:
Remove this plastic mount then tight all the screw( To tight the stepper motor)
