Problemi Oozing e Stringing

Post by Derek80 » Wed May 20, 2020 7:38 am

Hi everyone,
I purchased 3 printers: two S and one SE. I have a frightening oozinz and stringing problem that I can't solve. The only way to solve it is to keep the acceleration and jerk high, giving up the stability of the machine with its Ghosting effect. Do you have a profile or a suggestion to solve this?
My printers are perfectly calibrated and I only print quality PLA.
Thanks

Hi,
Have you tried to check this post? You can find the profile of the printer from this post.
https://www.eryone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=179

If you want others to know more details of your printer problem.
You should attach your slice profile and the pic of the prints.
Then we can give you more suggestions.

I have seen the profile and will use it for testing, but I have seen that jerk and acceleration are not managed by Cura: the default ones are too high for this printer (jerk 20 and acceleration 4000). Which recommended. Soon I will take photos for the problems.
Thanks for the quick reply

Allego le foto del problema. Ovviamente presenta anche uno stringing elevato.
Grazie

Hi William, you have already abandoned me. Another Thinker S arrives on Tuesday and I'm desperate ...

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
Seems I missed this post. I rechecked the new post then it shows.

Back to the topic:
1. The prints have some blobs
2. The prints have the string

Before we fixed it, we need to confirm these:
1. Have you tried to preview the prints before start printing?
I think this step can avoid a lot of the incorrect slice.
Like the scale incorrect, support too close, prints angle incorrect, etc.
So I suggest you can everyone dot these before prints.

eg:
I use the S3D for example with different settings. Then you can compare the pics

Can we delete these blobs?
The answer is no. We can improve it but we can't delete it because your printer needs the layer change and stop at that point.
Then some filament will out a little whatever retract setting you are set.

2. Try to choose "print out layer" at first

3. Check the temperature setting of the nozzle correct or not.
You can refer to this post then print a temperature tower to get the good temperature range of the filament
