Greetings!
I have been a loyal fan of the standard Eryone PLA filament (Because it's perfect) and wanted to try the new PLA+ filament for a new project since it promised some stronger properties.
However, I am having problems getting the results of PLA+ just right.
I have used temperatures from 200 up to 235 at the hot end. 60 degree bed. 40mm/s speed, 25mm/s bridges.
But after 10+ minutes running fine, the hot end clogs.
The Eryone TPU I used before this was easier to tune-in by comparison (which I expected to be much more difficult!)
I can provide my full settings if needed. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
Could you tell us the retract setting of yours?
Here are the recommended settings of it:
1.Retract setting
For the Bowden extruder
Retract speed: 50mm/s
Retract length: 6mm
For the direct drive
Retract speed: 30mm/s
Retract length: 0.8mm
2. Your print speed is normal so I don't think you need to change it.
3. When you changed the filament, you need to confirm the old filament inside the hotend is clear.
It the old filament burnt then it will affecting it and you may get a bad result.
Another thing is: Try to use another nozzle may improve it.
Happy New year!

Happy new year to you also !
Yes I changed to a hardened steel hot end. New when i changed to PLA+ filament.
Current retraction length is 1mm, with retract/detract speeds both 30mm/s
Just tried with hotend temp at 235, nozzle clog at 8 layers in
Thank you for your reply William!

Also should note: I am using Ender 3 pro with direct drive.
